Equipment – Film & Cinema HD
Technically this should now be called ‘Cinema’ to take into account the latest developments in Hi-Def cinema cameras such as the Panavision ‘Genesis’, ARRI ‘D-20/21’ and the ‘Red’ Cameras. Here at Helicopter Film Services we believe in embracing future technologies to run alongside the existing technology such as 35mm film. Many of our systems can happily cater for any camera type – film or HD and now even 3D (see seperate 3D section).
Film equipment falls basically falls into two broad categories: Stabilised and Non-Stabilised. The Nettmann Systems Stabilisation Chart explains in some more technical detail, the difference between them all.
