Take your production to the highest level with our state-of-the-art aerial filming equipment and expert crews.
Our cutting edge, top-quality kit will deliver the versatility and power you need to achieve the right shots and aerial sequences for your production.
Flexible choice of camera payloads - ARRI, Red, Sony, Panavision. Lens options from Angenieux, Zeiss, Canon, ARRI & Fujinon
All available from our custom designed 8,000 Sq Ft hangar headquarters near London, and worldwide.
We have a broad range of professional cameras, including ARRI ALEXA Mini, AMIRA, ALEXA-65, ARRI LF, RED Dragon/Weapon, Monstro, IMAX & SONY Venice, along with the latest stabilised system technology, such as the NSI SuperG2, StabC Compact, SHOTOVER F1, G1 & K1 and Cineflex/GSS, designed to work with a range of helicopters and the stabilised systems, and for our UAV/Drones.
We also have unique multi-array camera systems based on our Shotover K1. We can offer 3 or 6 camera array with Alexa or Red, in portrait or lanscape modes, and now have an integrated LiDAR/Red Monstro solution for simultaneous scanning plate capture for VFX.
We also work directly with equipment manufacturers on the research and development of new systems to help you get even better results.
Although all our equipment is state-of-the-art, it is only as good as the crew operating it - and our teams of camera operators, technicians and pilots are some of the absolute best in the business.
Whether you need picture ships or camera platforms, we can secure the best possible aerial shots with our range of helicopters, accomplished pilots and camera crews; all backed by more than 20 years’ aviation and aerial filming experience.
Along with our own fleet of Airbus Helicopters, we have a global network of some of the world’s most reputable helicopter & aircraft operators, which means you’ll get the right helicopter tailored to the needs of your production, wherever in the world your production takes us.
Helicopter Film Services are now one of only two companies in the world who own and operate the NSI Vectorvision periscope & nose camera for the Lear Jet. We operate a specially modified Lear 35A capable of speeds of 400 mph and is famous for its role to shoot commercials with the lengendary Concorde for British Airways. In the USA we work with our partners, Wolfe Air Aviation, based in California. We are constantly developing new fixed-wing platforms, so watch this space.
We are probably the only full service aerial filming company to offer both drone and helicopter filming services. This gives us the unique ability to give the customer an unbiased view on which is the best equipment for the job, and appraise you of the pros and cons of each. We are proud to offer some of the best drone equipment available - from a small Mavic on a reccé, through Inspire Pro right the way up to 20Kg, 42Kg and even 80kg Ultra Heavy-lift drones capable of carrying the Alexa 65 (and the IMAX version!) or even film cameras.
Our drone crews are some of the most experienced in the world, with our drones having clocked up over 1,000 hours of flight time and our Chief UAV Pilot is also a CAA Approved NQE Instructor/Examiner at our Commercial UAV Academy.
